A registered Colorado LLC with a street address and an unusually candid compliance policy — it says in writing that it will not claim accreditation it does not hold. It is young, its public certificate register is opt-in per client, and its policy names one vendor, Direct Peptides, as a customer it is 'independent of'.

None claimed, and the lab says why: its policy states it will not use 'FDA approved', 'ISO accredited', 'certified', cGMP, GLP, DEA-licensed or similar wording 'unless the exact claim, legal entity, site, method, scope, dates, and supporting evidence have been verified', and that a subcontractor's accreditation 'does not transfer to Horizon'. Sterility is subcontracted to SD PharmLabs; ICP-MS heavy metals is marked 'coming soon' on the about page.source
Why it matters: ISO/IEC 17025 is the standard that accredits a laboratory's competence to run a specific test method, assessed by a third party (A2LA, ANAB, UKAS and the like) with a published scope. "ISO 9001", "GLP principles" and "certified" on a website are not the same thing. An unaccredited lab can do accurate work; it just cannot prove it to you the same way.
Certificate states 'Searchable via: horizonanalytical.com' — look up the lot number on the lab's site.
Open the lab's verification pageThe test that matters: does the lab's own system return the same report the vendor showed you, for the same lot that is on your vial? A PDF on a vendor's site is a claim. The lab's record is the evidence.
| Vendor | Certificates we opened | Served by the lab | |
|---|---|---|---|
| BioGenix Peptides | 1 | — | is it legit? |
| Northline Labs | 1 | — | is it legit? |
| Direct Peptides | — | — | is it legit? |
"Served by the lab" means the certificate we opened was returned by the lab's own verification system, not only hosted on the vendor's site. Every certificate is in the COA library.
It is a registered Colorado LLC with a street address, a public verify page and a compliance policy that is more candid than most. It is also new, unaccredited (and says so), and publishes certificates only when the client opts in. Legitimate with caveats is the honest reading.
No. Its own policy says it will not claim ISO, GLP, cGMP or similar status unless verified, and that a subcontractor's accreditation does not transfer to it. Sterility testing is subcontracted to SD PharmLabs.
We do not know. The lab's compliance policy states in writing that it is independent of Direct Peptides and that Direct Peptides does not control its methods or results. That the clause exists tells you the question has been asked; it does not tell you the answer.
