The Research Peptide Market, October 2026
What 65 vendors charge, how 80 of them score on a public ten-point evidence rubric, what 52 Trustpilot profiles and 64 laboratory certificates actually say, and who closed. Every figure is computed from dated records we read ourselves between 2 August 2026 and 11 October 2026; nothing is estimated and nothing is sponsored.
- The same compound costs up to 12.5× more depending on the vendor. BPC-157, the most widely sold compound, runs from $2.2 to $10 per mg across 58 vendors; the median is $4.95.
- Prices have barely moved. Of 181 vendor-product pairs we read more than once since August, 15 rose and 20 fell; the median change is 0%.
- 27 of 81 tracked vendors (33%) have had their Trustpilot profile removed, so a star rating on a vendor's own site is, for a third of the market, the only rating left.
- Vials are overfilled, not underfilled: median measured content is 107% of label across 55 certificates; 26 exceed label by more than 10%, 1 fall more than 5% short.
- The hardest trust point to earn is "no contradictions among its own claims": only 23 of 80 vendors hold it. 4 vendors hold the full 10/10: Idun Peptides, Peptide Giants, Purgo Labs, MyPurePeptide.
What the market charges, per milligram
One row per compound; one entry per vendor, using the cheapest per-mg size that vendor lists on its latest read. List prices before any code. Blends and products sold under a code with no stated identity are excluded. Dated per-vendor rows are on the price index.

How 80 vendors score on the evidence rubric
One point per criterion, no weighting, same ten criteria for every vendor, every point tied to something a reader can re-check. Partner status is not an input. The rubric and every vendor's evidence are on the scoreboard; every change since August is logged with a reason.
41 upward and 19 downward changes across 46 vendors, from 149 dated log entries. Recent:
- 2026-10-10 Onyx Biolabs 9 → 8: ungated withdrawn: the shop and every product page now redirect to a login ('Researcher Portal Required'); the lab-results page stays public.
- 2026-10-09 Mile High Compounds 8 → 7: review-base withdrawn — Trustpilot removed the vendor's profile ('goes against our guidelines') between our 2 Oct read (4.8 / 502) and 9 Oct.
- 2026-10-09 Idun Peptides 9 → 10: claims-consistent awarded on re-read.
- 2026-10-09 Honest Peptide 7 → 8: review-base awarded — Trustpilot profile crossed 50 reviews (4.5 / 51 on the 9 Oct complaint read; was 44).
- 2026-10-09 NeuroLabs Research 6 → 7: review-base awarded — Trustpilot profile crossed 50 reviews (4.3 / 61; was 31 on 6 Sep).
What 52 Trustpilot profiles say, and the 27 that are gone
Trustpilot removes profiles for guideline violations and does not publish its reasons per vendor. We record a removal when the profile URL stops resolving and keep the last read on the vendor's page as history. 18 of the live profiles have fewer than 50 reviews, below the floor at which we award the review-base point.

Overfill is common and cheap for a vendor; it also means a "10mg" vial is not a reliable dosing unit for research. Every certificate, with lot and lab link, is in the COA library.
Semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide sold under house codes
Since the 2025–26 enforcement wave, almost no vendor lists these three compounds by name. We decode the codes vendor by vendor and record whether the identity is stated anywhere a buyer can check.

What changed in 2026, dated
Storefront replaced by a voluntary shutdown notice; Trustpilot profile since removed. The largest search-volume vendor in the category (90,500 monthly searches in September) stopped trading.

How the numbers were made, and how to use them
Prices are list prices read on vendor product or catalog pages (occasionally a checkout total), each with a date; codes are not applied. A vendor contributes one entry per compound, its cheapest per-mg size. Scores are the ten published criteria, awarded only for independently checkable facts, logged append-only. Trustpilot figures are read from the profile page on the date shown; "removed" means the profile URL no longer resolves. Certificates are documents we opened ourselves, with measured mass where the lab prints it; "verifiable" means the record resolves on the laboratory's own system. The rubric is at /sourcing.
