Sermorelin is one of the older growth-hormone-releasing peptides on the market and nearly every research vendor lists it, usually beside CJC-1295, tesamorelin and ipamorelin. The three GHRH-type compounds are chemically distinct — sermorelin is the first 29 residues of native GHRH, CJC-1295 is a modified version of the same fragment, tesamorelin adds a further N-terminal group — and catalogs do not always keep the names straight.

The certificate reports purity of the peptide, and net content is stated for the peptide, not the salt, when the vendor bothers to state it at all.

Sermorelin is the unmodified 1-29 fragment; CJC-1295 without DAC (also called Mod GRF 1-29) carries four amino-acid substitutions that slow its breakdown, and the DAC version adds a further group that extends its half-life to days.
